German (ie. Preussen), pre-WWI-period- and/or genuine silver-based, so-called: 'Preussisches Staats-Eisenbahn-Erinnerungszeichen für 25 Jahre Treue Dienste' (being a clearly maker- ie. 'Joh. Wagner & Sohn - Berlin'-marked example)
The attractive - and silver-toned- ie. genuine silver-based! - loyal-service clasp ie. 'Preussisches Staats-Eisenbahn-Erinnerungszeichen für 25 Jahre Treue Dienste' shows a winged railway-wheel with a above that a Preussen-style crown-device and a 25 years-shield (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive clasp shows some wear, age ie. staining but is totally void of any damage and is tru... read more
Superb, 'Postschutz'-arm-badge (ie. arm-eagle) being a piece as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern (and that comes with a period picture-postcard of the bearer)
The attractive 'Postschutz'-arm-badge - which is executed in light-grey-coloured linnen on a greyish-coloured background and which is executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave-pattern - was clearly issued and once tunic-attached: it was neatly pre-folded- and/or trimmed and comes in carefully tunic-removed condition (it still shows some minimal thread- ie. stitching-remains as can be clearly seen on th... read more
Aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the stamped unit-designation that reads: '1./Art.Ers.Abt. 246'
This is an attractive example of a silver-coloured- and/or aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Artillerie'-related- and 'standard-pattern' ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the (clearly!) stamped unit-designation that reads: '1./Art.Ers.Abt. 246' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who served within the first company of the: 'Artillerie-Ergänzungs-Abteil... read more
Detailed, early-period, golden-bronze-toned N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a party-related meeting: 'N.S.D.A.P. - Gau Mittelfranken - Hesselberg - 1933'
This is an attractive metal- (ie. tin-) based- and/or golden-bronze-toned N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') being a non-maker-marked example as was issued to commemorate a party-related meeting entitled: 'N.S.D.A.P. - Gau Mittelfranken - Hesselberg - 1933' and sub-titled: 'Deutschland ist Erwacht!' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued and/or ... read more
WH (Heeres) so-called trade- and/or special-career-insignia (ie.: 'Heeres-Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was intended for: 'Sanitätspersonal' (or: medical orderlies- ie. staff)
I recently found a small bundle holding 7 fully identical patches being all neatly hand-embroidered examples which are all executed in bright-yellow- (ie. red and/or black-) coloured linnen on a dark-green-coloured- (and/or smooth woolen-based-) background. All examples are nicely maker- (ie. 'G &H'-) marked on the (neatly reinforced!) backings and all show some minor age ie. minimal staining c... read more
