Attractive, WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' (being a detailed but non-marked example as produced by the 'Wilh. Deumer'-company) as was executed in multi-coloured 'Feinzink'
This is an attractive - and fairly 'high-quality'-produced! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' (or: mine-sweeper war-badge) being a detailed albeit as more often non-marked example as was executed in multi-coloured zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') that was (I deem) produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Wilhelm Deumer' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. Just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The award is (I deem) a fairly early-war-period produced specimen that has retained great pronounced detail. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and/or neatly horizontally mounted- and/or: 'flattened'- ie. flute-shaped pin-, catch and/or typical pin-attachment (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was most certainly never cleaned ie. polished and truly retains a fair bit of its golden- and/or silver-coloured finish: just some regular wear and/or age is visible. The piece has not been cleaned nor polished and still retains it (often missing!) third attachment-hook (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge can as such (I deem) be attributed to the maker: 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid. Simply an attractive KM-war-badge that comes in a moderately worn and/or fully untouched condition and that is accordingly priced!
