Attractive - albeit moderately worn! - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' being a maker-marked example as executed in typical 'Buntmetall' as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Schwerin - Berlin'
This is an attractive - albeit moderately worn but still very detailed and pronounced! - example of a so-called: WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (or: destroyers'-war-badge) being a clearly maker-marked- (and/or 'high-quality'-produced!) example that is executed in typical 'Buntmetall' and that comes in overall nice- (albeit clearly issued- and I deem just moderately worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge retains most of its silverish- ie. golden-toned finish and comes of course mounted onto its unaltered- and functional (flute-shaped and neatly horizontally-mounted) pin and/or catch (its small hook intended to keep the badge in place when worn is also present). The with certainty 'high-quality'-produced badge (that as stated also still retains it so-called: 'Gegenhaken') shows on its back the clearly present makers'-designation that simply reads: 'Schwerin - Berlin 68' and was - I deem - never cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit dusty ie. dirty as recently found (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that this attractive 'Buntmetall'-based 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' is accordingly priced!
