The truly attractive - and actually very unusual and with certainty scarcely encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and shows the woolen-type piping attached as is more often seen. The straps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - are with certainty a 'standard-issued' pair that was clearly used ie. worn as such. The pair originated from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered (and come mounted on their functional tongues as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps show a neat pair of (fully matching, Gothic-styled, silverish-toned and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'KS'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached which are unusually executed in the 'Heeres-type'-pattern!! (something that is VERY unusual but that I have seen before). The straps show the regular-styled, LW-pattern NCO-braid attached. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the pair shows a set of silver-coloured- and typical braid-based 'Laschen' attached (something that denotes an: 'Anwärter'- ie. candidate rank). The straps never had any pips attached and can therefore be indentified as a pair that was used by an NCO holding the rank ie. function of an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter der Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Kriegsschule' (or: junior-sergeant and officers'-candidate and member within one of the Luftwaffe war-schools). The pair was - as stated above - clearly worn and used and does show some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that all LW-type, 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-pairs can easily be graded 'scarce' and are not that often offered for sale. Simply a very attractive - and truly unusually encountered! - 'one-of-a-kind' NCO-type pair that can easily be used to complete any LW 'Viertaschenrock' or shoulderstrap-collection!
