Single, WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard: 'Hauptmann des Nachschub-Abtlgs. 6'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard having the bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann des Nachschub-Abteilungs 6' (or: captain who served within a specific transport-unit, numbered: '6') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, regular-sized) '6'-numeral and equally-styled (and larger-sized) pair of pips period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for an officer who held the rank of a: 'Haupmann' (ie. captain). The attached devices - that were attached BEFORE the board was fully assembled! - show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish. The strap never had a tongue attached (it is a typical specimen of the 'sew-in'-type) and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann des Nachschub-Abteilungs 6': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
