This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless not that often encountered! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period- (ie. 'M36'-pattern- and/or rounded-styled-), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap having the bright-orange- ('orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and most certainly worn by! - a: 'Soldat des Wehrersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises VI' (or: simple soldier who was part of the recruitment-troops within the area of 'Wehrkreis VI' (being a larger area situated in the province of Westfalen and residing in the town of Münster) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which does show some regular age ie. wear and/or minimal staining caused by moderate usage - comes in an overall nice, albeit moderately used- and/or worn condition but is void of any damage whatsoever. The strap is executed in the darker-green-coloured- (and/or: 'smooth'-type) wool and has the woolen-based- and bright-orange- ('orangeroter'-) coloured piping attached. The neat shoulderstrap - which never had a tongue attached and that was which certainty intended to be worn as a piece of the 'sew-in'-type - measures approximately 11,7 cms. in length and shows the neat Roman-styled- and/or: machine-embroidered: 'VI'-numerals (as executed in bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured so-called: 'Maschinenstickerei' as to be expected, denoting the soldiers' rank ie. function of: 'Soldat des Wehr-Ersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises VI'. I deem that I have priced this neat 'Soldat des Wehrersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises VI'-shoulderstrap according to its evident desirability and/or comparative rarity!
