This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderboards as was specifically intended for usage by a WH (Heeres) 'Feldpost-Betriebsassistent o. Oberschaffner' (being of a rank comparable with an NCO- ie. 'Feldwebel'- or sergeants-rank) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The boards - which are executed in the 'smooth'-like- and/or darker-green-coloured wool (aka 'moleskin'-wool) have the neat (bright- ie. lemon-yellow- ie. 'zitronengelber'-coloured-) branchcolour (ie. 'Zwischenfarbe') and darker-green-coloured 'upperdeck' showing (interwoven) yellow-coloured 'braid' something that was obligatory for all shoulderboards as worn and/or used by the various non-commisioned 'Feldpost'-service officials. The boards measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each and never had tongues attached and was surely intended for usage as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show a pair of (matching, regular-sized, bright-silver-toned- and/or aluminium-based): 'FP'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (somewhat smaller-sized and equally-styled) pips, period-attached. All four devices are just minimally tarnished and/or stained but are still very nice and/or pronounced (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards were I deem only minimally used and do both show some (truly minor) staining ie. wear. Simply an attractive - and actually very scarcely seen! - NCO-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: WH (Heeres) 'Feldpost-Betriebsassistent o. Oberschaffner'!
