Attractive - albeit regrettably single - neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the orange-coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant u. E.-Offizier einer Feldzeugdienstelle'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless rarely encountered! - neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and/or clearly used by! - a: 'Leutnant u. E.-Offizier einer Feldzeugdienstelle' (or: junior-replacement-officer ie. lieutnant who served within an army equipment-distribution-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat board measures approximately 12,2 cms. in length and has a (bright) silver-coloured (ie. non-'sub-dued') 'upperdeck': moreover, does it show a bright-golden-toned, regular-sized, Gothic-styled and rarely encountered so-called: 'Fz'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of: 'Leutnant': of additional interest is also the fact that the 'Fz'-cypher was attached BEFORE the board was fully assembled (as can be noticed on the pictures). The board never had a tongue attached and was most certainly used as a board of the sew-in-pattern. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty rarely found! - officers'-type board: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
