Neat - albeit single but nevertheless not that easily encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the white-toned branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Infanterie-Truppen'
This is a neat - albeit single but nevertheless not that easily encountered! - officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) toned branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within the infantry-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. clearly worn-), condition. The neat board has a 'bright' silver-coloured 'upperdeck' and shows a (larger-sized, golden-toned- and/or 'Buntmetall'-based pip period-attached (denoting the junior officers'-rank of: 'Oberleutnant' ie. lieutnant first-class). The pip is a bit tarnished from age but is nevertheless still nicely preserved. The board - that just shows the minimal signs of having been worn and used - comes without tongue but is fitted to be worn onto a summer- (or white-coloured) tunic and comes thus mounted onto a so-called: 'auf der Steg'-mounting (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive and desirable officers'-type board that is I deem accordingly priced!
