Superb, 'Postschutz'-arm-badge (ie. arm-eagle) being a piece as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern and that comes in a moderately used- (ie. clearly tunic-removed-), condition
The attractive - and actually truly scarcely found! - arm-badge (ie. arm-eagle) - which is executed in light-grey-coloured linnen on a greyish-coloured background and which is executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave-pattern - was clearly issued and once tunic-attached: it was neatly pre-folded- and/or fine-trimmed (and was once tunic-attached by means of machine-stitching) and comes in a carefully tunic-removed condition (it still shows some minimal thread- ie. stitching-remains (as can be clearly seen on the pictures). The 'Postschutz'-organisation (which can literally be translated as 'postal security-service') is one of the more obscure, smaller-sized TR-era organisations that fell under the jurisdiction of the SS and about which little is known to date: its 'political'- (ie. police-related-) nature is also underlined by the left-facing eagle. I have seen these pieces also having a bright-orange-coloured (interwoven) border, something that can be looked-up in the archive-section of my web-site: this example does not show this border (something that might deal with the function ie. rank of the official). It should be noted that these attractive 'Postschutz'-arm-eagles can easily be graded 'fairly rare'.
