Attractive, WH (Luftwaffe) light-brown-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based, so-called: 'Pistole 37- Ung.'-soft-shell holster (being a maker- ie. 3-digit-code- 'HSY'-marked example)

This is a truly attractive example of a light- (ie. reddish-) brown-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based, so-called: 'Pistole 37- Ung.'-soft-shell holster (being a maker- ie. 3-digit-code- 'HSY'-marked example) that comes in a probably issued- and/or minimally used, condition. The holster is naturally fully serviceable (all leather 'lashes' are original to the piece and are not re-sewn nor replaced or alike). The piece has its full and/or undamaged (still white-coloured) stitching in place and can be easily graded 'virtually mint'. The 3-digit maker-code on its back is clearly present and reads 'HSY' (as can be seen on the pictures) implying that this holster was produced by the maker: 'Franz Cobau - Fabrik für Militär-Ausrüstungen' as was based in the town Berlin-Renickendorf-Ost. The piece is as stated above still 'completely hardened when handled' being a sign that it was not greased nor oiled whatsoever: moreover, has it never been cleaned nor polished and is still a bit dirty and stained as recently found. The inside is, however, void of the sometimes present ink-stamp: 'Nur für Pistole 37 - kal. 7.65' (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these 'Pistole 37- Ung.'-soft-shell holsters as intended for the Hungarian 'Pistole 37' were mainly used by Luftwaffe crew-members. Simply a great example that will be very hard (ie. impossible!) to be upgraded!
