This is a little piece of WH-equipment that is often missing in a WH soldiers'- ie. equipment set-up: a 'standard-issue'-pattern, WH binoculars (ie. 'Dienstglas 6 x 30 o. 10 x 50') so-called: 'anti-movement flap' (or: 'Tragelasche für Dienstgläser') being a unusually thinner-shaped example as was executed in (typical) black-coloured leather being a non-maker-marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat piece is - as stated above - just moderately used and does show some regular traces of wear: the piece is, however, totally undamaged and fully souple: it comes thus in a still fully functional condition. The flap comes with both its two, original black-coloured- (and metal-based) 'studs' in place and can as such easily be re-mounted to any binocular-pair. As stated above, is this example void of a makers'-designation (nor date or 'WAa'- ie. 'Waffenabnahme'-) stamp something that is most certainly more often the case. I deem that these interesting thinner-shaped 'Tragelaschen' were specifically produced for the 10 x 50 'Panzer' binoculars (but I have also seen these being used on the regular 6 x 30-type-pieces). Simply a nice little piece of WH-equipment that would surely look great if re-mounted onto a pair of 6 x 30 (or even a: 10 x 50-type) binoculars: without doubt a nice example of a fairly hard to find WH equipment-piece!
