Pair of WH (LW) officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Hauptmann eines Flak-Artillerie-Abtlgs. o. Rgts.'

The truly attractive pair is piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by an officer ie.: 'Hauptmann eines Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: captain who served within a specific anti-aircraft-unit). The pair was presumably issued and moderately used ie. once tunic-attached and comes in an overall very nice condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-related pair). The boards - that never had any tongues attached - are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age, wear and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 12,5 cms. in length each - show two (fully-matching, regular-sized, golden-toned and 'Buntmetall'-based!) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of a: 'Hauptmann eines Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments'. The boards only show some fair wear and/or- age but are totally void of any damage or alike. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive, officers'-type LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Hauptmann eines Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments'!
