This is a neat, single SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') enlisted-mens'-pattern shoulderboard (ie. 'Schulterstück für Mannschaften der SA') as piped in the greyish-toned branchcolour as was intended for an SA-member serving within the: 'SA-Gruppe Weichsel o. Sudeten' being a 'mint- ie. unissued' example that still retains its period-attached 'RzM'-etiket. The board (that is of the second pattern that was worn in the period 1936-45) comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (ie. I deem virtually 'mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. It does show the typical brownish-toned 'upperdeck' (having a silver-toned, interwoven 'waffle-pattern as to be expected) and shows the greyish- (ie. 'grauer') branchcolour ie. woolen-based 'underlay' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The board never had a tongue attached and was intended for usage as a board of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The board measures approximately 11 cms. in length each and was simply never worn: it does show some minimal storage-age and/or staining as to be expected.
