Single, WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard: 'Oberleutnant eines Panzer o. Panzerjäger-Rgts. o. Abtlgs.'
Category:
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - officers'-type shoulderboard having the (bright!) pink-coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant eines Panzer o. Panzerjäger-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within a specific tank ie. anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyers' regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a (golden-bronze-coloured, 'Feinzink'-based and/or: smaller-sized) pip period-attached denoting that the board was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of an: 'Oberleutnant'. The device show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but is still nicely preserved. The strap comes mouted onto its period (smaller-sized) tongue attached and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that came with a greyish-toned tunic-button attached - was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officers'-type shoulderboard that belonged to an: 'Oberleutnant eines Panzer o. Panzerjäger-Regiments o. Abteilungs': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
