Single, WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard: 'Major eines Panzerjäger-Rgts. o. Abtlgs.'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', higher-ranked officers'-type shoulderboard having the (bright!) pink-coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Major eines Panzerjäger-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: major who served within a specific anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyers' regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (golden-bronze-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: larger-sized) so-called: 'P'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting that the board was intended for a senior-officer who held the rank of a: 'Major'. The device show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but is still nicely preserved. The board never had a tongue attached (it is a typical specimen of the 'sew-in'-type) and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that came with a silver-toned 'screw-on'-button ie. 'Schraubknopf' attached - was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officers'-type shoulderboard that belonged to a: 'Major eines Panzerjäger-Regiments o. Abteilungs': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
