  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

The truly atttractive - and actually very scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such as intended for - and most certainly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Lehr-Abteilungs' (or: sergeant and presumably trainer/instructor who served within an army-infantry-related, trainings- ie. schooling-unit). The pair is just minimally used- ie. worn as such and shows some obvious wear, age and/or staining. The 'text-book' (albeit typical tailor-made ie. 'privately-purchased' shoulderstrap-pair measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length each and has the woolen-type piping attached as is more often encountered with these early- (ie. mid-) war-period shoulderstrap-pairs. The shoulderstraps are fully 'text-book' examples having the darker-green-coloured- and/or (boiled) woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which show two (identical, Gothic-styled, aluminium-based and/or silver-coloured) so-called: 'L'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a single (equally-styled) pip each period-attached - come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and have the neat 'standard'-type (bright) silver-coloured- (ie. non-'sub-dued') and/or: 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid attached. The pair originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found as such: it was never part of a collection. Simply a great occasion to acquire a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Lehr-Abteilungs'!
