Single, early- (ie. pre-) war-period WH (Heeres) 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern (pointed-styled) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Art.-Beobachtungs-Abtlgs. 6'

This is a neat - regrettably single but nevertheless still scarcely encountered! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period, WH (Heeres), 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) type (pointed-style) and neatly 'cyphered' (and as per regulation non-piped!) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Art.-Beobachtungs-Abteilungs 6 (or: simple soldier who served within a specific, artillery-observers' unit, numbered: '6') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap has a darker-green-coloured and (smooth) woolen-based 'upperdeck' as to be expected and comes mounted onto its period tongue attached. The strap measures approximately 11,7 cms. in length and shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'), Gothic-styled: 'B'- and/or '6'-numerals (ie. cyphers or: 'Ziffern') attached which are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured wool as to be expected. The strap shows some moderate age and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible- ie. present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or early- (ie. pre-) war period, 'cyphered Heeres'-related shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Art.-Beobachtungs-Abteilungs 6': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
