This is a neat - just moderately used and fully matching! - pair of (carefully 'cut-off a tunic' and/or 'standard-issued' ie. non-tailor-made!) WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within an infantry-regiment) and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 11,6 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern', darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the yellowish-silver-coloured (ie. minimally sub-dued-pattern) NCO-braid attached and do show a matching set of (identical, regular-sized and/or typical zinc-based) pips, period-attached. Both pips are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair that came with a pair of silver-toned tunic-buttons attached came without tongues as found (it was most certainly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern) and does just show some minimal age, wear and/or staining only. The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - are a typical 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-privately-purchased-) pair (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period - 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Regiments: I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Infanterie'-related pair, accordingly!
