This is an attractive - just moderately used and/or fully matching! - pair of later-war-period, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M44'-styled, 'simplified', NCO-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the neat bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'Unteroffizier der Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within a later-war-period, army signals'-regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. truly used- and/or worn-), condition. The straps - which are approximately 11 cms. sized in length each as more often - have the 'standard-pattern'- and/or typical, field-grey-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' (which are executed in so-called earthen-brown-coloured and later-war-type wool) and/or typical tongues and do show the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured and/or: 'silk-like'-type branchcolour (ie. piping) attached. The straps are constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner' using different shades of wool and/or material (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat straps - that show the bluish-grey-toned (ie. clearly sub-dued!) NCO-braid period-attached - do show some minimal age, wear and/or staining simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage. It should be noted that all 'M44'-style, NCO-pattern shoulderstraps are actually quite hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they come in a truly used- and/or worn condition. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - M44-styled, NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Nachrichten-Truppen': great to complete any later-war M44- (ie. even M43-) model 'Heeres'-tunic!
