Fully matching WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair (that comes mounted onto its unsually seen: 'Auf der Steg'-mounting!) as was intended for an officer holding the rank of a: 'Korvettenkapitän'

This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily- ie. scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-pattern (ie. typical 'summer'-type) shoulderboards (as was specifically intended for uage onto the white-coloured tunics) and that comes mounted onto its unsually seen: 'Auf der Steg'-mounting as was piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an officer holding the rank of a: 'Korvettenkapitän' and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem 'virtually mint ie. unissued'- and/or never tunic-attached), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the naval, 'summer'-type shoulderboards and have the greyish-silver- (ie. minimally sub-dued-) 'upperdecks'. The boards were constructed from the typical 'smooth-type' wool as to be expected. The boards never had any 'cyphers' (nor numerals) attached but came with a (matching, golden-toned, regular-sized) pair of anchor-type 'Schraubknöpfe' (ie. screw-on-buttons) period-attached: the pair came still 'tied-together' as produced (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each as more often. These 'standard'-pattern, naval officers-pattern, 'summer'-type shoulderboards were specifically intended for usage onto the white-coloured KM-attire. Simply an attractive 'Kriegsmarine'-related shoulderboard-pair that was intended for a: 'Korvettenkapitän'!
