This is an attractive - and fairly scarcely encountered! - typical early-period so-called: 'Tasche zum WH Kochgeschirr' (or: specific cover for the mess-tin) as was executed in greenish-tan-coloured linnen, being a neatlt maker-marked and/or: '1934'-dated example that was (I deem) simpy never used (and that can easily be graded still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'). The natural brown-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based strap (and/or fortified piece) is present and in place. The cover shows an impressed makers'-designation and/or date (which is to be found on the back of the leather-based strap as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece still has a somewhat 'hardened touch' and does show some minimal age- ie. staining simply caused by having been stored as such for decades. In any case is this a very nicely preserved, unusually found 'Wehrmcht'-equipment-piece that will be impossible to be upgraded!
