The attractive - and actually rarely found! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstrap - which comes in a truly great and/or fully untouched condition (and that was clearly used- and/or worn as such!) - has the typical, bluish-grey-coloured- and/or (smooth)woolen-based 'upperdeck' and shows the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour ie. 'silk-like'-type piping and was as such intended for a senior-NCO (ie. 'Oberfeldwebel u. Offz.-Anwärter der Hermann Göring-Division' or: sergeant first-class and officers-candidate) belonging to one of the the regiments within the so-called: 'Hermann Göring-Division'. It should be noted that these typical white-piped, LW-type NCO-shoulderstraps can be considered 'fairly rare'. The shoulderstrap comes as stated above in a very nice condition overall: it does not show any defaults whatsoever and is just a bit dirty ie. stained. The neat strap measures approximately 10,2 cms. in length and comes mounted onto its functional tongue: it shows the (typical) LW-pattern (ie. 'dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid and two (regular-sized, zinc-based) pips period-attached. Of interest is, moreover, the fact that the strap shows a (loosely) attached piece of silver-toned braid attached (denoting that the NCO who wore this strap was an: 'Offz.-Anwärter'). Simply an attractive - and actually quite rarely encountered! - LW-'Hermann Göring-Division'-insignia-piece: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
