This is a truly attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless quite rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period (ie. 'M41'-pattern styled), NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Infanterie-Regiments der “Grossdeutschland”-Division' (or: NCO ie. junior-sergeant who served within an infantry-related unit within the greater “Grossdeutschland”-Division) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly ie. moderately used and/or worn-), condition. The neat and very desirable shoulderstrap - has the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached. The strap - which measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length - comes mounted onto its period tongue and comes in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book'-) condition, overall. The strap is a clear example of a 'standard-issued'-pattern strap and does show the neat interwoven 'GD'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), which are executed in white-coloured, machine-embroidery (as per regulation). Moreover, does the strap show the ('standard-issued'-pattern, bluish-grey-toned ie. sub-dued-type) NCO-braid attached denoting the NCOs rank ie. function of an: 'Unteroffizier'. The strap shows - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). In any case is this a nice occasion to acquire a very attractive and desirable NCO-type, 'M41'-pattern, 'Infanterie'-related GD-shoulderstrap: it has been some time that I did offer such a neat “GD“-shoulderstrap!
