This is a neat - and just moderately used and/or fully matching! - pair of typical 'tailor-made'- (ie. privately-purchased-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberwachtmeister o. Oberfeldwebel eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: NCO or: sergeant first-class who served within an artillery unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth boiled-woolen'-based 'upperdecks' - and that measure approximately 10,2 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical silverish-blue-toned (ie. somewhat sub-dued) NCO-braid and 4 (non-identical, regular- ie. smaller-sized and/or zinc- ie. aluminium-based) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of an: 'Oberwachtmeister o. Oberfeldwebel' - come mounted onto their period (and also 'boiled-woolen'-based) tongues and come both in an overall very nice- and/or just moderately used and/or worn condition (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an excellent occasion to acquire an attractive NCO-type, '(Sturm)Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for an I deem justified price!
