Superb - and in this official 'Wehrmacht'-issue-pattern rarely encountered! - example of a Dutch-produced, WWII-period, 'Philips - Type 7424-93' hand-operated flash-light, (aka: 'Knijpkat') clearly stamped: 'Wehrmachteigentum'

This is a moderately used - but still nicely preserved and still functional! - example of a Dutch- produced- and/or WWII-period-, field-grey-coloured- and/or hand-operated flash-light (aka in Dutch language as: 'Knijpkat') being an example that is neatly marked on its bottom with the engraved- (ie. stamped) text that reads text: 'Philips - Type 7424-93 - Made in Holland - Wehrmachteigentum' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used but still fully functional- and/or still working-), condition. These neat flash-lights - as were produced by the famous Dutch -company - were a much favoured item by both soldiers and/or civilians and saw wide-spread usage. They did not need any batteries but were operated by pushing a small generator by hand. The flashlight retains most of its original (field-grey-coloured- and quite shiny-type) paint and is still fully functional (after 70 years!): the piece holds its original light-bulb (which is still working!) and has an undamaged (plastic- ie. resin-based-) lense: it just shows some minimal staining and/or wear-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is as mentioned above nicely engraved- (ie. stamped) on its bottom with a clear makers'-mark and the (rarely seen!) impressed text: 'Wehrmachteigentum' on its bottom (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a neat and with certainty desirable WH-equipment-item that comes not that often offered for sale!
