Single - but nevertheless fairly rarely seen! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Kavallerie-Aufklärungs-Abts. 2'

This is a truly an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless quite scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) NCO-pattern and neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty used and/or worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Kavallerie-Aufklärungs-Abteilungs 2' (or: NCO and sergeant who served within the cavalry-related, reconnaissance-unit numbered: '2') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The strap shows the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and woolen-type piping ie. branchcolour and comes mounted onto its period tongue: it measures approximately 11,4 cms. in length and was just moderately worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows a neat (and actually scarcely seen!) silver-toned (Gothic-styled, regular-sized- and/or: zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) so-called: 'A'-'cypher (ie. 'Ziffer'), equally-styled and smaller-sized '2'-numeral (ie. 'Ziffer') and a single pip period-attached, denoting that the 'Feldwebe'l who was issued and used this strap, served within one of the: Kavallerie-Aufklärungs-Abteilungen' (ie. cavalry-related, reconnaissance-units). All three devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished but have preserved a fine and just minimally stained age-patina. It should be mentioned that these 'Heeres'-type, 'Kavallerie-Aufklärungs'-related shoulderstraps are actually hard to come by and can easily be graded 'scarce'. This particular strap originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I acquired for the web-site and shows - as stated above - just moderate usage ie. wear (just some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel des Kavallerie-Aufklärungs-Abteilungs 2': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
