Single, WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type, 'M40'- (ie. 'M41'-) pattern shoulderstrap: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied der Infanterie-Lehr-Trpn.'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless quite scarcely seen! - (I deem) early- (ie. mid-war-) period, so-called: 'M40'- (ie. 'M41'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied der Infanterie-Lehr-Truppen' (or: senior-NCO and sergeant first-class who served within an army-infantry, training-unit ie. battalion) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used- ie. just moderately worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,7 cms. in length as more often seen - has the neat white-coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these early-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - shows the bluish-grey-toned (ie. sub-dued) NCO-braid attached and comes mounted onto its functional tongue: next to this it shows a neat (regular-sized, Gothic-styled and/or: 'Feinzink'-based) 'L'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and two (equally styled and/or regular-sized) pips period-attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap - that is most certainly a typical 'standard-issued' example - shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40'- (ie. 'M41'-) pattern, NCO-type 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied der Infanterie-Lehr-Truppen': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
