The attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstrap comes in a moderately used- and/or fully untouched condition and has the typical bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck'. It shows the (typical) darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured (and woolen-based) branchcolour ie. piping and was as such intended for usage by a senior-NCO (ie. 'Oberfeldwebel' or: sergeant) belonging to one of the the later-war-period, so-called: 'Luftwaffe-Felddivisionen' (or: later-war period LW infantry-related units ie. ground-troops). It should be noted that these typical green-piped, LW-type shoulderstraps can be considered 'truly scarce' and saw also usage on for example on the specific 3/4-sized FD-camouflaged smocks. The shoulderstrap on offer here measures approximately 10,6 cms. in length and comes in an overall nice- (and as mentioned above I deem clearly used- and/or worn-) condition: it just shows some minimal wear, age and/or staining but shows no defaults nor damage whatsoever. It was carefully 'cut-off-a-tunic' and misses its tongue: it was worn as strap of the 'sew-in'-pattern. Next to the (typical 'dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid does the strap show two (regular-styled, aluminium-based) pips attached and came with a pebbled-styled tunic-button attached: it was once glued into an album or scrapbook and does show some minimal glue-remains on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and scarcely encountered! - 'text-book', LW-'Felddivisionen'-strap: too bad that it is only a single example!
