  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is a neat - fully matching but regrettably somewhat moth-damaged but nevertheless still quite scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern- (rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier eines Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within the an army mountain-troopers regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,7 cms. in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks' and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. The straps show the silverish-toned (early-pattern, dotted-styled) NCO-braid attached and do both show some moth-damage as stated above. Some moderately usage and/or wear is also evident (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all, WH (Heeres) 'Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scare' and come not that often for sale. Simply a neat and/or: early-war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' that is (I deem) priced according to its relic-condition: a pristine pair would most certainly cost the double of my asking-price!
