This is a truly attractive - and fully matching! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', typically privately-purchased ie. 'tailor-made'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled), NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberwachtmeister des Artillerie-Regiments 57' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the artillery-regiment, numbered: '57') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or rayon-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps show a matching pair of (older-styled, larger-sized and/or aluminium-based) '5'- and/or: '7'-numerals ie. cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') and a pair of (regular-sized and also aluminium-based) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Oberwachtmeister o. Oberfeldwebel': moreover, does this set show a pair of (red-toned) so-called: batallion-designator 'Laschen' (period- and firmly!) attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - come mounted onto their smaller-sized tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows some obvious age, wear and/or staining and one of the straps shows some moth-damage (only visible on its back). Simply an excellent occasion to acquire a neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type, 'Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for an I deem justified price!
