This is an attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period, 'M36'-pattern (pointed-styled-) and generic-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps (being a pair having no branchcolour as per regulation) as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Regiments 159' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment ie. unit numbered: '159' and that comes in overall nice- (albeit just moderately used- ie. worn- and/or: clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 12 cms. sized in length - are totally void of any damage and have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above no piping nor branchcolour attached: they are of the 'generic pattern' (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the (standard-pattern) bright-silver-coloured NCO-braid attached and have each a (fully matchin) set of (smaller-sized, white-coloured- and I deem zinc-based) '1'-, '5'- and/or '9'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of an: 'Unteroffizier' (ie. junior-sergeant). All six devices were with certainty period-attached and do just show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish. The pair comes naturally mounted onto its original tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). This particular shoulderstrap-pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site and shows - as stated above - moderate usage ie. wear. Simply a nice and moderately used and/or worn - and quite early- (ie. pre-war-) period, 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Regiments 159': I deem that I have priced this neat 'Infanterie'-pair, accordingly!
