This is a attractive - and actually rarely seen! - early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Unteroffiziersvorschule XII' (or: soldier ie. student who was a trainee within the infantry-related NCO-school, numbered: '12') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn- ie. cut-of a tunic-), condition. The neat strap - which has the 'standard'-pattern- and/or darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' - has the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length - come without tongue: it was (I deem) carefully 'cut-off' a tunic (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows the nicely machine-embroidered, Gothic-styled, 'U'- and/or: 'V'-cyphers and/or: Roman-styled: 'XII'-numerals (naturally also executed in white-coloured linnen ie. wool). The strap shows - as stated above - only minimal usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). In any case is this a nice occasion to acquire an attractive and desirable EM-type, 'Infanterie'-related 'Unteroffiziersvorschule'-shoulderstrap: I deem that this attractive and rarely found specimen is accordingly priced!
