  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Infanterie-Regiments 2' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment, numbered: '2') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which is of the (typical) early-war-period type - has the somewhat light-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping, attached. The shoulderstrap shows the (typical early- ie. dotted-pattern) silver-toned NCO-braid and never had a tongue attached: it measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length and was most certainly used as a piece of the 'sew-in'-pattern. It does show the neatly machine-embroidered and white-coloured '2'-cypher (ie. numeral or: 'Ziffer') which is executed in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows some minimal age, wear and or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should noted that these neatly 'cyphered', 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'fairly scarce': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
