Single, WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40'-pattern- and neatly 'cyphered') shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by an: 'Uffz. eines (Gebirgs)Jäger-Rgts.' (ie. 'Divisionseigene-Abteilung' and part of the: '17. Inf.-Div.)

This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless rarely found! - WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern, neatly 'cyphered'- and/or darker-green- (ie. grüner-) piped, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was (I deem) intended for - and minimally worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier eines (Gebirgs)Jäger-Regiments' (ie. I deem 'Divisionseigene-Abteilung' and part of the: '17. Infanterie-Division) and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat and I deem typically 'tailor-made' shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. sized in length - does show the greenish-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the rayon-type piping and silverish-toned NCO-braid attached. Moreover, does it show the neatly hand-embroidered and also darker-green-toned: '1'- and/or '7'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern') attached (which are both excuted in detailed so-called: 'Handstickerei' as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some minimal usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) '(Gebirg)Jäger'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Gebirgsjäger-Rgts.' (part of the: '17. Infanterie-Division')!
