This is an attractive - fully matching and clearly used and/or tunic-removed! - four-pieced, WH (Luftwaffe) insignia-set comprising of a pair of neatly hand-embroidered, WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type collar-patches and dito shoulderboards as was intended for (and used by!) a: 'Hauptmann der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen' (or: air-force captain who served within the anti-aircraft, artillery-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere der Luftwaffe') is executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or: typical smooth- ( ie. 'moleskin'-) type wool as was specifically intended for usage by an officer holding the rank of a: 'Hauptmann der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen' (or: air-force lieutnant who served within the anti-aircraft, artillery-troops). The pair is neatly hand-embroidered and shows great detail and/or craftmenship (as can be seen on the pictures). Both pieces have a 'standard-type', yellowish-beige-coloured- and/or 'buckram'-based 'backing' and still show some minimal stitching-remains caused by having been once tunic-attached. Next to this, does the grouping holds a pair of (typically LW-styled) officers'-type shoulderboards (that measure each 9,7 cms. in length and which are equally executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or: typical smooth- ( ie. 'moleskin'-) type wool and having the (somewhat shiny) silver-toned 'upperdecks' and four (identical, golden-bronze-toned, 'Buntmetall'-based pips period-attached (denoting the officers'-rank of a: 'Hauptmann'). These boards come with their smaller-sized officers'-pattern tongues attached. The set was clearly always together and was worn as such and/or stored for decades. All four insignia-pieces do show some obvious age, wear and/or staining. Simply an attractive - and fully untouched! - LW officers'-type insignia-set that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
