This is an attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of (typical) 'privately-purchased'- (ie. tailor-made) pattern, WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period- (ie. 'M41'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the desirable, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and I deem moderately used by! - an: 'Unterfeldwebel des Kradschützen-Bataillons 8' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within the army-infantry-related, motor-cycle bataillion, numbered: '8') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which I deem are of the early-war-period ie. so-called: 'M41'-pattern - have the field-grey-coloured 'upperdecks' and have the neat, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The tongues are naturally also present. The straps - which are totally constructed from so-called: 'boiled-wool' - are regular-sized- and measure 11,2 cms. in length each. The straps show the neat, siverish-coloured- and/or 'standard-issue'-pattern- (ie. 'Heeres-type') NCO-braid attached and have a pair of bright-silver-toned (Gothic-styled, larger-sized and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'K'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (larger-sized, older-styled and equally-styled) '8'-numerals period-attached denoting the NCO's rank of an: 'Unterfeldwebel'. This scarcely seen pair originated from an older and extensive shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. The pair on offer here just shows some truly moderate age, wear and or staining and does show some truly minimal moth-damage on their backs (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and typically 'privately-purchased'! - 'Kradschützen'-related NCO shoulderstrap-pair that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
