This is neat - albeit slightly mis-matched but neverthelass not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period (ie. 'M40'-pattern), typical standard-issued (ie. non 'tailor-made' nor privately-purchased) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within the infantry-troops) and that comes in overall nice- (albeit just moderately used- ie. worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps are both approximately 10,7 cms. sized in length and have the 'standard-pattern', dark-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come without tongues (they were used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern and were clearly 'cut-off a tunic') and do both show some moderate age, wear and/or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1940 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). One of the straps once had the embroidered numerals (that I deem read: 58) attached but these were period-removed (as per regulation). Still an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'Infanterie'-related EM-type shoulderstrap-pair: I deem that I priced this neat infantry EM-pair according to its overall nice and/or fully untouched, condition!
