Truly used- and/or worn, neatly 'cyphered' pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant des Panzer-Regiments 12'

The attractive - and actually fairly scarely seen! - pair of WH (Heeres) shoulderboards on offer here are 'text-book'-examples of the typical Heeres'-type, 'Panzer'-related shoulderboards and have the silverish-grey- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-type) 'upperdecks': they are (I deem) just moderately used- ie. worn and show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the 'smooth-type' wool as to be expected). The boards came mounted onto their (smaller-sized) officers'-type tongues attached. The boards measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and were clearly worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows two matching sets of (neatly golden-toned, older-styled, larger-sized- and/or fully identical) '1'- and/or '2'-numerals (ie. 'cyphers') period-attached denoting that the pair belonged to a junior-officer ie. 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant) who served within the: 'Panzer-Regiment 12' (ie. tank-regiment, numbered '12'). All four devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished but have preserved a fine and fairly bright- (and/or quite shiny) age-patina. Taking into account the fact that the set has silverish-grey- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-type-) 'upperdecks' I deem that it was a pair that was used onto a typical front-used tunic (or even black-toned, 'Panzer'-wrap-around tunic. It should be mentioned that these 'Heeres'-type 'Panzer'-shoulderboards are actually quite hard to come by and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a very attractive shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des Panzer-Regiments 12'!
