  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

The attractive - albeit regrettably single! - mid- (ie. early-) war-period, WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap is piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 12,3 cms. in length. The strap has the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more often encountered) and was as such intended for usage by a simple soldier who served within an infantry-regiment. The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recenly acquired for the web-site - is a typical 'standard-issued'-example that has the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck': it was - I deem - only moderately used ie. worn and does show some minimal wear, age and/or staining. The strap comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue which is (unusally!) not lined (as can be seen on the pictures). These desirable 'M41'- ie. 'M43'-pattern, army-infantry-related EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'weisser'-coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Soldat eines Infanterie-Regiments'!
