This is a neat - albeit single but nevertheless fairly scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) I deem) early-war period- (ie. 'M41'-pattern- and/or typically tailor-made!) NCO-type-shoulderstrap as was piped in the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and most certainly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier u. Anwärter der Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Truppen' (ie. junior-sergeant and full sergeant-candidate who served within an anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyers-related regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,7 cms. sized in length - has the darker-green-coloured- and/or (boiled) woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the neat (and desirable!) bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type, piping, attached. The strap never had a tongue attached (it was clearly intended as a strap of the 'sew-in'-pattern) and does show obvious wear, usage and/or minimal age. The strap has the 'standard'-type, silverish-coloured (ie. non-'sub-dued'-type) 'Heeres'-NCO-braid attached and also shows a single loop (ie. 'Lasche') constructed from similar NCO-braid period-attached denoting that the bearer held the rank of an: 'Unteroffizier u. Anwärter' (ie. junior-sergeant and sergeant-candidate). Simply an attractive - and actually scarcely found! - NCO-type 'Panzer- o. Panzerjäger'-shoulderstrap that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier u. Anwärter der Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Truppen': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
