This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO- (ie. 'M41/M43'-pattern) shoulderstrap as piped in the the (typical) bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) toned branchcolour as was intended for usage by an NCO (ie. 'Feldwebel' or: sergeant) who served within the: 'Panzerschützen-Regiments 3' (or: NCO iesergeant who served within the tank-gunners unit ie. regiment, numbered: '3') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- and most certainly worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat strap is just moderately used and/or worn and does show some obvious wear, age and/or staining but is void of any real damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) toned branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping attached and measures approximately 12,3 cms. in length. The piece shows the 'standard-issue'-pattern, bluish-grey-coloured (ie. sub-dued) NCO-braid period-attached and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap is constructed from the typical field-grey-coloured wool and is with certainty a: 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-tailor-made) piece. The strap shows a neat (regular-sized, silver-toned- and/or aluminium-based-) so-called: 'S'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and an (equally-styled- and smaller-sized) '3'-numeral and dito (smaller-sized) pip period-attached denoting the NCOs'-rank of a: 'Feldwebel des Panzer-Schützen-Regiments 3'. These type of shoulderstraps are of the typical (early- ie. mid-) war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1941/1943 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular strap originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'Panzerschützen'-related NCO-type 'Heeres' shoulderstrap: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
