This is a neat - albeit single but nevertheless fairly scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) I deem) mid-war period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern- and/or typically tailor-made!) NCO-type-shoulderstrap as was piped in the desirable bright-green- (ie. 'wiesengrüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and most certainly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziersanwärter der Panzer-Grenadier-Truppen' (ie. junior-sergeant and officers'-candidate who served within an infantry-related, so-called: rifle-regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 10 cms. sized in length - has the darker-green-coloured- and/or (boiled) woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the neat (and desirable!) bright-green- (ie. 'wiesengrüner'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type, piping, attached. The strap comes naturally mounted on its functional (peculiar-shaped!) tongue and does show obvious wear, usage and/or minimal age. The strap has the 'standard'-type, bluish-grey-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued'-type) 'Heeres'-NCO-braid attached and also shows a double loop (ie. 'Lasche') constructed from bluish-grey-toned NCO-braid period-attached denoting that the bearer held the rank of an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziersanwärter' (ie. junior-sergeant and officers'-candidate). Simply an attractive - and actually scarcely found! - NCO-type 'Panzergrenadiere'-shoulderstrap that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziersanwärter der Panzer-Grenadier-Truppen': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
