Rarely seen - and fully matching! - pair of very early-period- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-era), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstraps, as executed in neat smooth-type wool as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Pionier-Bataillons 7'

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually rarely encountered! - pair of (I deem) very early- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-) period, 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Pionier-Bataillons 7' (or: simple soldier who served within the army-engineers-battalion, numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- and/or worn-), condition. The straps - which measure 11,1 cms. in length each - are fully 'text-book' in all facets and are executed in the ('Reichwehr'-era type-) smooth-type wool, having the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured (and woolen-type) piping attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). Both straps show some honest - albeit fair - wear and/or age: some staining and/or wear is present and noticable. Both shoulderstraps show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') '7'- numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') which are executed in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured wool as to be expected. The straps come mounted onto their functional tongues. Simply an attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat des Pionier-Bataillons 7': only the first such rare shoulderstrap-pair in this enigineer-related branchcolour I ever had on offer!
