Superb pair of later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern and/or simplified, WH (Heeres) EM'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red-coloured branchcolour as intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der (Sturm)Art.-Trpn.'

This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern (ie. simplified) WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der (Sturm)Artillerie-Truppen' (or: simple soldier ie. private who served within the artillery-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each as more often seen - have the neat, 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired - are constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner', using different shades of wool and/or material (see pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern, EM-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply a very attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'-, M44-pattern EM-type 'Artillerie'-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der (Sturm)Artillerie-Truppen': one of the nicest such pairs I ever had on offer for quite some time!
