Pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Rgts.'

The neat WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair is piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a junior-officer who served as an: 'Oberleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments' (or: lieutnant-first-class who served within the pilot- or paratroopers-branch). The pair was clearly used and/or once tunic-attached and comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the typical golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-related pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of (golden-toned- and I deem glass-based (!) and regular-sized) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of an: 'Oberleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments'. The straps never had any tongues attached (they were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern) and only show some age, wear and or staining but are void of any damage or alike. This pair originated from a small lot of 'cyphered'- and regular-styled LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive, officers'-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for an: 'Oberleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments'!
