This is a truly attractive - fully matching and actually very scarcely seen! - pair of (I deem) pre-war-period and neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 34' (or: private who served within a specific fortress-anti-aircraft-unit, numbered: '34') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately worn- ie. clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed- ie. 'cut-of a tunic'-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and have the woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps that came without tongues were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (I deem that they were once attached to a so-called: 'Viertaschenrock'). They show the 'Gothic'-styled so-called: 'F'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and dito '3'- and/or '4'-numerals attached (which are executed in neat 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected) denoting that the pair was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 34'. The straps show some clear age, wear and/or staining but are nevertheless nicely preserved (as can be noticed on the pictures). This pair originated from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are truly very hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and rarely seen! - EM-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Soldat des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 34'!
