This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - (I deem) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'- (ie. 'M43'-) pattern (and typically standard-issued!), WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: private who served within the army signal-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 10,7 cms. in length as more often seen - has the field-grey-toned and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more often encountered). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - comes mounted onto its functional tongue. Simply a neat - and/or fully 'text-book'! - 'M40'- (ie. 'M43'-) pattern, EM-type 'Nachrichten'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Nachrichten-Truppen'!
