  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is a very attractive - fully matching, moderately used but nevertheless truly very scarcely found! - pair of early-period (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern and/or typically 'pointed'-styled) WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered' (and/or per regulation non-piped ie. generic-styled!) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 46' (or: infantry-junior-sergeant who served within a specific, infantry-related machine-gunners-unit, numbered: '46') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are executed in the darker-green-coloured wool - are naturally void of any piping (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and come mounted onto their period tongues. The straps - that have the 'standard-issue'-pattern NCO-braid attached - show the neat machine-embroidered (by means of 'Kurbelstickerei'!) larger-sized: 'M'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and/or '4'- and/or '6'-numerals which are executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show as stated above only moderate usage and wear (just some minimal age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). It should be noted that ALL 'cyphered', NCO-pattern, 'Infanterie'-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'very scarce'. In any case is thos a very attractive and/or: early-war-period, 'Heeres-Infanterie'-related, NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 46': I deem that this very desirable pair is accordingly priced!
