This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of (I deem) typically 'tailor-made'- ie. 'privately-purchased'-pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines (Nebel)Werfer-Abteilungs' (or: sergeant who served within an army smoke-troops unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth- ie. boiled-woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each - show the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured and/or rayon-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that also show the silver-toned NCO-braid and that have a pair of (matching, regular-sized and/or zinc-based) pips period-attached - come naturally mounted onto their period (thin-shaped) tongues attached and come both in an overall nice- and/or just moderately used- and/or worn condition (as can be seen on the pictures).
